Grizzly Mill Hog The Grizzly Mill Hog is known as the Heavyweight Champion of Wood Waste Grinders for good reason! It is designed to be the most rugged hog on the market and will handle almost any material you throw at it and just keep on running.
Cedar bark, green spruce bark, all kinds of mill wood waste, demolition debris, butt ends, railroad ties and stringy bark are all easily processed and the resulting product is of high quality and suitable for hog fuel, mulch or a biomass product. Features of the Grizzly Mill Hog for wood residuals are:
Reclaimer The Brunette Reclaimer is a ‘bin-type’ debarker, developed to increase your fibre supply by performing quality debarking on difficult material such as log yard debris, pulpwood, cedar and frozen aspen.
It features a rugged, simple design that efficiently separates valuable wood fibre from dirt and rock as it debarks. The robust design minimizes the need for large spare parts inventory and makes the Brunette Reclaimer easy and inexpensive to maintain. Some of the key benefits of the Brunette Reclaimer are:
BioSizer The Brunette BioSizerTM is a rugged high speed wastewood grinder specifically designed for production of a fine consistent product. The Brunette BioSizerTM is built to be low maintenance with a high inertia rotor and fixed hammers. Four rows of staggered hammers provide maximum bites per revolution. This grinder allows for processing of oversized ‘bush-grind’ hog fuel, trim blocks, wood chips, demolition materials, typical urban wood waste; all converted to a fine consistent product size for the biomass industry.
The main frame is protected with internal bolt-on replaceable wear liners. The grate has a progressive rectangular hole pattern and can be easily changed out to other hole patterns to suit required product size. Butt Reducer The Brunette Flare Butt Reducer’s unique design and cutting geometry turns unwanted logs into valuable timber, while the robust construction reduces maintenance and improves uptime for continual return on investment.
Benefits of removing flared log butts with a Butt Flare Reducer include cleaner chips because of removal of bark inclusions, improved productivity and increased lumber recovery because of more accurate scanning and positioning. Specifications:
