Building on the success of this long running event, the 9th annual Global Softwood Log & Lumber Conference will again feature in-depth coverage of key global markets for softwood logs, lumber and the supply dynamics in major exporting and importing countries.

 Some of the normal topics for discussion will revolve assessing the major trends and variables in key global markets. Other speakers will address the implications of the Canadian import duties on U.S. shipments and where U.S. lumber prices are headings. As well, the role of Russia, Europe, New Zealand and North America in China will be discussed, with new exporters emerging fast from South America.
